Monologues and Duologues for Young Performers was published in 2022 by Bloomsbury and Methuen Drama.
This collection brings together a wide range of pieces and themes for students of all ages to use for LAMDA and Trinity examinations, class work, auditions and festivals. Each of the pieces is accompanied by teacher and student notes with ideas for workshopping and exploring the text, questions to ask, devising and improvisation tasks, vocal and physical exercises and these can also be adapted to suit any of the pieces in the book. Each of the pieces in the collection has been workshopped with my own students and some have previously been published in the LAMDA Acting Anthology and on the syllabus. Some have also ben previously used for Drama festivals as well as for Trinity examinations. |
